The School’s aim is to provide a healthy and balanced range of food that is both nutritious and exciting to all the children at Handcross Park.

Catering is provided by Holroyd Howe whose chefs produce all of our food on site using, where possible, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

We have a 3-week rolling menu which is available for parents to view each week.Breakfast options offered to the boarders (and those pupils who join Breakfast Club) change daily with two hot items available.

Lunch is recognised as an important sociable time at Handcross Park where staff sit with the children (reinforcing good table manners) and the children are given the choice of warm, hearty familiar foods alongside a salad bar.  Hot or cold desserts are on offer, with the option of fruit.

During morning and afternoon break sessions, children are offered home cooked, high energy products with the addition of freshly cut fruit.

Suppers and weekend meals for the boarders are fun and appealing for those children away from home.

We cater for a range of dietary requirements, from children who have specific allergies to recognising religious diets.

Holroyd Howe also run ‘Chef’s Demonstration’ sessions so that the children can experiment with new foods – at a sushi demonstration most of the children tried the freshly made Nori rolls.
