Welcome to our vibrant language department where our primary aim is for all children to develop a love of languages together with an awareness of other cultures.

At Handcross Park School, all children study Spanish from Nursery to Year 8, to reach Common Entrance or Scholarship level. In Year 6 there is a choice between French and Latin as a second language.

Labels around our school
At the start of term children discovered colourful signs scattered around the school indicating in both Spanish (yellow labels) and French (blue labels) the name of the classrooms and essential school places The children are enjoying perfecting their pronunciation and showing their new found knowledge to the teachers and parents.
