Pre-prep children listeningFrom Nursery onwards children are taught in 2 parallel classes with a maximum of 17 in each class.

Children are taught by excellent teachers and benefit from the support of experienced teaching assistants.

The Reception Year is part of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The children work in small groups, individually and as a whole class, and the more formal skills required for literacy and numeracy will be introduced at this stage.

There is a mix of adult led and child initiated activities planned to provide opportunities for our 4 – 5 year olds to develop skills in the following areas:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication, Language and Literacysay no evil
  • Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy        
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World
  • Physical Development
  • Creative Development

Children have access to a fully equipped outdoor play area located adjacent to their classroom with plenty of opportunities for exploring, discovering and energetic play.
